What is Peaceflow?

Peaceflow is a combination of gentle body movements, breathing, visualisation and meditation, specifically designed to help you release your stress and enhance your overall well-being.

When you exercise - as well as when you engage in creative activities or when you dream - you activate the right hemisphere of your brain and this allows a beneficial discharge of the excess energy which you tend to accumulate in the left hemisphere during the day. Focusing on your body also helps you switch off those worries and negative thoughts that you constantly build up in the left hemisphere.

When you feel down and depressed, you tend to considerably reduce your movements and withdraw from social contacts. In such cases, going to the gym or simply going out may feel like hard work.

Peaceflow can help you reconnect with the life forces within your body through the daily practice of a number of sequences of slow body movements, visualisation and gentle touch. Its practice can help you feel comfortable in your body, centred, balanced and at peace with yourselves and with your environment.

Research carried out at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital in Sheffield (UK), the US National Institute of Health and Harvard's Women's Health Watch on the regular practice of Tai chi have already shown that gentle bodywork slows the heart rate and lowers blood pressure in heart attack victims. Moreover, it is effective against arthritis, bone loss and ageing and has a positive effect on diabetes, lower back pain and depression.

Weight loss - it's easy to lose weight rapidly through fasting and dieting, but if people don't change their mindset, they will soon put on weight again. Peaceflow shows you how to 'think light' and how to 'travel light' throughout your life. Once the mindset will have changed, you will be able to lose the excessive weight and to keep it that way!
Stress and anxiety - most people make the mistake of starting their day by jumping from bed to shower and running from home to office. Peaceflow shows you how to ease your way into a new day and gently takes you through your bed-breakfast-office routine, in a completely different way.
